Time gone by.

So, some time has gone by since Mica’s birthday and the most recent videos, but I assure you not too much happened.  I’m sure I went to class and went out occasionally.  I think I also saw “Hedwig and the angry Inch” during that time as well.  Anyway, now Acacia has come to stay with me for a week, so we took lots and lots of pictures and some pretty funny videos too. Enjoy.

Lets go in the giant blow up truck!

I tried but unfortunately it was very dark and there were lots of “kids” or somewhat drunk adults jumping around inside!

THE PIZZA PALACE!

Soooo, it’s official, I spent my life in this pizza place.  It’s quaint and quiet most of the time, except for those occasional days where one of Buenos Aires football teams are playing on the TV.  Each table is topped with a green table cloth followed by a white smaller table cloth atop of that and finally a square slab of glass on top of that. There is a large ribbon of wood paneling on around the walls with white on either side, divided by a chair rail on the bottom and another piece of molding about 3 feet from the ceiling.  The decor is overall a hodgepodge of a few different things.  The sign above the counter is very commercialized looking with large letters that say “La Moderna” with pictures of the pizzas and empanadas they serve. On the opposite wall are posters for other things.  A poster for argentine tango, plaza de toros in espana as well as one for the waterfalls in espana.  And finally on the wall next to where I usually sit is a pre 9/11 photograph of NYC with the towers and all.  I guess this is where the americans are suppose to sit.

Anyway, maybe I’ll take a couple of pictures some day and post them, it’s my home away from home, away from home! haha
